Assignment 4: Organizing Files


Keeping track of your files will become more difficult as the semester progresses. That's why it is a good idea to keep track of your files now while it is still easy to do so.

This assignment will ask you to create folders in your student number and then take a picture of your drive as proof that you have organized everything.

To start, you need to know how to make a folder. It's an easy command. You have to click on the FILE BROWSER icon at the bottom of your desktop. It looks like this:

A new window will open and you can click on the HOME tab to see this list of buttons. The one we will be using is called NEW FOLDER.

Find your way to to your STUDENT NUMBER and double click it.

Make a NEW FOLDER and name it Digital Photo. Like this:

Double click on that newly made folder. You can then create a series of folders inside each folder. In all, you will make the following folders:


This assignment is also due on WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13TH.

For this assignment, you will turn in a screen shot of your folders. You can use the SNIPPING tool by searching for it in the search bar. The icon looks like this:
