Project 14: Flat Lay

For this project, you are going to take a series photo using a flay lay technique.

Lay flat is an overhead photo. It lets the viewer see your scene from a birds-eye view. This is a good angle for food that looks nice from overhead. Think pizza, waffles, and things like that. Flat lay is also popular with product photography. There are a lot of examples of this type of photography online.

Using the skills that you have developed over the past couple of weeks doing food photography, try to develop your own flat lay. You will be turning in 3 complete photos. They might be three photos of different flat lay setups, or three different arrangements of the same flat lay photo. The choice is yours.
