This image is of  the Cottingley Faeries taken by Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths. These young ladies took their camera and some paper cutout faeries down to the river near their house and took these pictures. They presented them to their father an mother as proof that faeries existed. Their father, a photographer himself, saw that they were cutouts, but their mother believed them. How would you make this kind of image today?
