Project 18: Shutter Speed Ladder

For this assignment, you are going to use the camera in MANUAL (M) mode. We have not done that before, but it is an important part of learning how to use the camera.

Directions: You are going to shoot the same scene over and over. The only difference between the exposures is that the shutter speed will change. You will need to set the other settings manually, but once you do you can quickly change the shutter speed by tuning the dial right above the shutter button.

Take each photo and paste it into the corresponding box. You should notice the images starting out as overexposed and moving toward a good exposure. If you choose an interior scene, you should see the image become underexposed as you get to the faster shutters.
