Assignment 3: Working With Files in Windows


The computers we use in class are installed with Windows, a popular operating system. There is a lot to know about Windows, but one of the most important things is to learn how to effectively work with files. There are going to be times when you need to copy a file or rename a file and learning how to do that now makes the process faster.

PART 1: How to use Files with Windows

PART 2: Organizing Your Files

Find your way to to your One Drive and double click it.

Make a NEW FOLDER and name it Digital Photo. Like this:


Double click on that newly made folder. You can then create a series of folders inside each folder. In all, you will make the following folders:


PART 3: Deliverable

This assignment is also due on Monday, 9 August, 2021 .

For this assignment, you will turn in a screen shot of your folders. You can use the SNIPPING tool by searching for it in the search bar. The icon looks like this:
